We all do it once in a while and that’s when we get the
MOST satisfaction from our lives!

I’m talking about FOCUS!

For many years in my life I had a problem focusing. You see
it wasn’t some sort of medical problem but the stress of not
achieving much could have really turned out to be a medical problem.

One of the reasons I couldn’t focus was because I was too
afraid of dropping everything for just ONE thing.

I thought that if I kept on doing a lot of stuff then
something was bound to pop up and meake me life-changing money.

The thing was, I couldn’t have been more WRONG!

You see, by doing that I was spreading myself too thin and
didn’t really create the kind of progress on any of the things that
I did.

I soon realized that if I had only, focused my efforts on
just ONE thing I would have accomplished it and seen some real
results!

For me that ONE thing was to focus my efforts on building
my first website and building a subscriber li’st.

Of course it was easier said than done, especially since I
didn’t have someone to guide me at the time.

Well, what I started doing was keeping a spiral bound
notebook at the side of my computer each day, and wrote my to do li’st
on it. This ‘to do’ li’st was everything that I needed
to accomplish that day in order to reach my ultimate
goal…’getting my first website up and running!’

Now, if I saw that something I wrote down would essentially
defeat my ultimate goal then of course the next thing I did
was cross it out.

My friend, I could say that I achieved my goal slowly but
surely but that’s NOT exactly what happened!

Fact is, as soon as I began to focus on ONE ultimate goal,
my efforts began to snowball as momentum built up
and guess what?

Yep! I started achieving everything I wanted even faster
than I thought was possible.

It’s really a magical thing when you acutually experience
what happens with a little focused attention
to a specific goal.

Sure, I had a few little obstacles but by focusing on my
goal and each item on my li’st, I was able
to quickly launch my first ‘REAL’ website,

Keep in mind that this wasn’t my FIRST attempt over the
years to launch a successful webiste.

I had tried and failed miserably before because I was
missing a few important elements, namely understanding how to market
my website effectively and convert visitors to sales.

I’ll tell you the joke about that one another time…just
remind me. ;-P

So anyway, this website is pretty old and I haven’t really
updated it in quite a while BUT, the beauty is
it STILL works by attracting traffic from all over the
world.

In the coming weeks my staff and I will not only revise
this website, but work on bringing it’s traffic rank up to well
below 50,000 on Alexa.com which by the way, is pretty darn
good.

The point is, if you want to achieve MORE and I mean TONS
more, then all you have to do is
drop all of the useless B.S. that’s currently holding you
back and FOCUS on one thing at a time!

With the exception of actively learning about what it is
you want to accomplish FOCUS is all you need…

There are no secret there right?

Because of FOCUS, I have been able to generate well over 5,
6 and even 7 Figures in revenue for myself as well as my
clients.

As is typical of me I can’t close this thought without
referring back to business…even on a self improvement topic. Heheh!

Think about these examples and you’ll see EXACTLY what I
mean…

– Ikea – focuses on home furninshing.
– Nike – focuses on sneakers.
– Dell – focuses on computers.
– RIM – focuses on it’s Blackberry phones.
– Walmart – focuses on selling other people’s products.

Now although it may seem like these compaies have tons of
other stuff going on, the first thing they all did
is get their focus down and became successful with it.

Then and ‘only then’ did they expand and venture out into
other product lines or ‘goals.’

Think about your focus as driving a car on the highway, if
you get distracted, it could prove to be FATAL!

In my internet business coaching practice, I often have
clients that are trying to achieve, more than one thing
at a time.

For example, they want to have adsense sites,
and a product site and then sell other people’s products as an
affiliate, but wait…their also involved is some kind of
special online recruiting program or something all at the same time.

My first response to them is, ‘How has that been going for
you?’

Their reply is almost always, ‘I’m not making any mo’ney!
How can other people be successful with this?’

I then say, ‘Listen, choose ONE and only ONE and then we
can move forward and you WILL be successful. IF you go back to
doing all of them, I’m certain you’ll become frustrated and
fail!’

My friend, your choice is simple…

Choose a focus and stick to it with ruthless efficiency.
Not only will you succeed faster but you will have less stress,
