I know this sounds weird but…
I thought it was lost in time but the Universe
sent me a “Furey-ous Angel” who gave it back to
me.
The other day, I was walking down Broadway
close to the David Letterman Show.
I had a car waiting to take me home and so
I crossed the street to pick up some Cranberry
juice for my daughter (she’s 2), and out
of the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse
of someone who I had admired for many years…
He was a silent mentor to me.
Here’s my top 10 list of steps you must take to setup and run a successful internet business this year…
- Choose a niche market you have an interest in.
- Research to make sure that market has active buyers.
- Look for products or services that are currently being sold in your niche market. (buy them and take notes)
- Visit the forums, blogs and networking websites that your market does and network with them while giving good advice. In other words do a stake out and be of service.
- Based on your findings, look for an underlying problem that you see is common within your market.
Success and wealth don’t happen by themselves. You have to want them and develop the skills to possess them. Even people who win the lottery often lose the money quickly because they don’t have the skills to keep it.
Most of us learned about the natural law of ‘cause and effect’ in school. For every action there is a reaction. Very simply, if you forget your umbrella and it rains (cause), you’ll get wet (effect).
When you learn to control causes and take responsibility, you will reach your desired effect. The 5 causes outlined here are learnable skills. They are not inborn talents, but skills, that can become habits.
This is an interesting trick. Some internet marketers may not consider this a “trick” per say. First, let me tell you what WIIFM stands for. This stands for “What’s In It For Meâ€Â. And it is simply one thing your current sales page CANNOT afford to be without.
Anybody who buys anything always wants to know how this purchased product will benefit THEM. They don’t care about what it will do necessarily. Rather what it will do for THEM is the key point.
People are selfish by nature. Especially online. They don’t care about you, or what you’re trying to accomplish. They only care about themselves. It’s harsh, but it’s also true.
Just don’t focus on the home page, keywords and titles.
The first step to sales when customers visit your site to see the products they were looking for. Of course, search engine optimization and better rankings can’t keep your customer on your site or make them buy. The customer having visited your site, now ensure that he gets interested in your products or services and stays around. Motivate him to buy the product by providing clear and unambiguous information. Thus if you happen to sell more than one product or service, provide all necessary information about this, may be by keeping the information at a different page. By providing suitable and easily visible links, the customer can navigate to these pages and get the details.
Do you want to know why some people seem to make lots of money on the Internet and others don’t?
Do YOU want to be among the 5% of people who are a success?
Then read on! It is a simple concept. Although simple, it is also difficult to put into practice. It isn’t rocket science. It isn’t “hardâ€Â. It is time consuming.
It does take away from your other pursuits and you must WANT it.
It’s all about motivation and your reason “whyâ€Â.
Sounds simple enough. And the theory is. It is the practice that is challenging.
